Here’s an interesting product: a microchip cat flap by SureFlap, a UK company. Because I’m close to being at crazy cat lady status, I do find cat products interesting, even if they’re not suitable for me. Cat Flap Doors: They’ve got Pros and Cons
There are pros and cons to having a cat flap door on your house. On the pro side, your cat can come and go as they wish. On the con side, other animals could get in your house, like other cats or small animals that aren’t even cats! (Squirrels, small dogs, rodents…) A cat flap door that encompasses microchip technology could be a great way to get the best of having a cat flap door. You can manage who can come in and out of that door because the door will read microchips.
