How Not To Get Things Done

If you want to know how NOT to get things done, follow me. I’ll show you!

-When in the midst of chaos and your hubby says he’s invited someone over for dinner, say, “OK.”

-Register a new blog domain and decide you must make your new blog NOW

-Tell the client in an emergency crisis that, “Sure, I can help.”

-Develop an addiction to Plurk. I’ll save this for tomorrow’s post :)

What a crazy/busy week I’ve had!  I booked 14+ projects (I lost count after 14 but they kept coming) this week because The Boy and Wee Boy were going to be away with grandparents until Sunday.  Grandparents remembered they had a wedding to attend so said they’d bring boys home Thursday. Then it rained Wednesday so the kids came home then becuase there was nothing to do at the place they were at. So…I had no groceries in the house and soooo much work to do it wasn’t even funny. (Not even a little.) We ordered a pizza and I trudged through. Then Thursday, we decided to just have a nice evening and have family movie night.

Friday was crazy and I had enough to do as it was but my biggest client was having a crisis and needed me. I almost had a melt down but got through it and hit the absolutely neccesary deadlines.

Then I had a brainstorm and got momentarily sidetracked and registered a new website.  Today I decided to spend a much-deserved hour getting it started. The reason it felt so urgent is that I wrote a Google Adsense revenue making e-book during the week and discovered a few new affiliate marketing tips so decided I needed to make a new blog so I could put them into practice.

Anyway, here’s the blog: The Money Jar Budget. If you visited me here a few weeks ago, you’ll know that I am doing this budget and it’s making a big difference in my life.  Last month I wrote an e-book about personal finance and enjoyed it so much that this seemed like a logical niche for me to build a bit of expertise in.

Anyway, back to the grind. Have a productive day! If not, have a fun day anyway. :)
